We did it all this year- pumpkin carving, a trunk or treat, a school Halloween Monster Mash, prepping for our big 10th Annual Anderson Halloween party (which needs a post all it's own) and the actual trick or treating!

Meeting the Players (Warriors edition)
Jase's dreams came true when we all got to go to the Warriors game with Kyle and Amy. They know all the in's and out's of getting signatures and meeting players. We were a little bummed that Curry didn't make it over, but we learned later he was doing better things for a teammate who lost his brother- way to be one of the good guys Steph.
It was a night our kiddos wont forget!

Campbell Family Reunion
Our main reason fro going up to Northern Utah the first part of October was for a much needed Campbell family reunion.
We stayed at a cabin in Park City and enjoyed playing games, chatting, yummy food, and just being together!
Bryn and Papa taking a little siesta!
Maycee and Tess were off on adventures all their own most the time.
How I wish these two little girl cousins lived closer together- they had such a fun time.
PLaying funny Minute to Win It games!
One of the things I am most happy about with this trip was getting some updated family pictures!
The last one we had with my side of the family Jase was barely a month old! So crazy!
Tom, Erika, Tess, and Eve
Jess, Linda, Kyler, Corbin, and Gavin
Joe, Jessica, Weston, Drake, Avonlea, and Angel baby Holland
The bachelors Adam and Cody
The Campbell family!
Pap, Grandma, and the grandkids
The original Campbell Clan!
I couldn't have asked to grow up with a better family! Being the only girl with five brothers is something special!
and... I just leave with this one- because it is the greatest picture of all! My dad's face kills me every time I see this!
I sure love my family- aren't they the best looking group of people. I will treasure these pictures forever! I truly feel blessed to be a part of a family that although isn't perfect, loves each other through it all!

Our Trip to Northern Utah!
Ryan and I both grew up in Northern Utah- I love UT county. It's a place I always thought I'd return to or live in. It is beautiful and full of good people and most importantly lots of family is there.
Unfortunately it had been a LONG long time since either Ryan or I have visited.
At the beginning of October we got that chance.
With a Campbell family reunion up in Park City, we headed up a few days early to spend some extra time at our old stomping grounds.
We were so excited to come back just as the beautiful fall colors were in their prime! First thing we did when we got there was head out on a hike....
We made it about 10 yards before our kids claimed they were frozen to death. So after we calmed the fears that there were no alligators in the water (Texas kids vs Utah kids haha), we took this picture then headed out to our second stop- Burlington coat factory to get those Texas kids some coats!
NOW back to the trails...that's better:)
Bridal Veil Falls is SO pretty and I know that Utah offers so many other perhaps much more spectacular views, but we were totally satisfied with the beauty there!
The kids were even quite in awe!
We also got to visit with our good friends the Nye's! We love Christian and Julie! We met them in Cedar City while going through school and working at Cold Creek Cafe. They are some of the best people we know! It's been 11 years and 8 kids since that time, but we pick up right were we left off!
Ryan also made sure we spent plenty of time on or around BYU campus. It is beautiful there!
We also met up with Kendall for a quick meal at Gandalphos and to meet her new guy Josh!
Pizza Night to hang with Kenny and Bec!
Ryan even got to see his high school bestie Jason!
We stayed with Great Grama Elaine, who took amazing care of us, of course!
We also got to take the kids to the Salt Lake Temple. They had never been there before and it was so fun to take them to this iconic temple and the place where this little family of ours all began over 14 years ago!
I love that the second Emee saw it, she knew exactly what it was without any prompty from us- she exclaimed LOOOOK eh temple!
We also made a special stop to visit with my growing up besties- Ashley and Melissa.
We grew up in Locksley Circle together and have stayed close for all these years. Two years ago, we all had babies within months of each other and they were all baby girls- so sweet to share that with them!
