I love Maycee's performances for Singers Company. She looks so cute up there singing and dancing. This year, she performed at a couple locations for different groups. I'm so proud of her willingness to do things, even when it makes her nervous. She's my daredevil fearless child. She did great!!!!

BMX Biking
Another chance for my kids to expand their horizons. We took them out to the BMX dirt track last night for some fun on BMX bikes. Maycee jumped right on and went for us. She's our fearless wonder, hilarious to me with how tiny she is to me. I love it! Jase picked it up quickly as well, even standing up off his seat. They got to the point where they were going down the starting gates and rolling through the entire track. With everyone dripping in sweat, I didn't hear a single complaint... they all had a blast! We may have found our new hobby. BMX, here we come!!
Great experience for all of them to try something new and even with a few falls, they kept working at it. I was proud of all 3 of them to get up and down those hills.
Happy Birthday Brynlee
Brynlee was so excited to turn 4 this year. She was counting down her birthday for months and knew from the get-go that it was to be a Troll party. We've been loving Trolls in our house lately. We have probably watched Trolls in the car over 50 times... I'm pretty sure I could recite the entire movie in my sleep.
We had a bunch of crazy 3 and 4 year olds over to celebrate with us for her birthday. She has some great friends that she adores and loves to play with. So thankful for friends and family that live close by and make our kids smile and enjoy their days.
I Can Fly, iFly
Another thing we've wanted to do with our kids recently, is fly... the indoor skydiving place iFly. Our kids were up to the challenge and tore it up, even the Brynlee girl. The video footage is saved in our family Google Drive records, but in short, everyone felt like they were on cloud 9 (quite literally) and were happy they tackled their fear of flying high in the iFly tunnel. Meag and I also jumped in the tunnel... brought back the glory days of falling out of an airplane 12,500 feet in the air.
Let the Good Times Fly!
Utah, Implants, and Kendall... Oh My!!
A really quick trip to Utah for an Implant course. Team Alterra have decided to try and implement implants into our practices. This was the first step to kicking. A few other upsides to having a 22 hours trip up to Utah was eating at Costa Vida with the one and only Kendall. It's not too often we get to see here with all of our busy schedules.
Implants here we come... hopefully. Thanks Meag for holding down the fort while I was gone.
Little Elm Park Family Camping
What better way to grow closer as a family than to camp out over Memorial Day weekend with a bunch of loud, drunk people all around, singing karaoke until 1:30 am?!? Lets not forget that we forgot to bring the poles to our 2nd, "kid" tent where half of us were going to be sleeping. So instead, we bunkered down in one tent, 2 adults, 4 kids (1 crazier than the rest... hint hint #4), and a wet dog... gotta love that smell.
Seriously though, we all had a great time. Stayed up way too late, roasted s'mores on the beach, played in the water, paddleboarded to our hearts content and enjoyed being an awesome family that plays together.
Medieval Times
We had been wanting to take our kids to Medieval Times for a while now... what better time than the present! We stuck with our new found love of getting great seats and picked up some seats in the front row, close enough to smell the horse manure if we so chose to. The night was way entertaining. The girls were tossed a flower by our valiant knight who fought hard in the jousting, winning his first battle but eventually dyeing a slow and lonely death by the sword in the end. Nevertheless, the good guys prevailed as the entire stadium cheered on the victor who revenged our knights death by clubbing the bad guy into the ground with a spike ball, naturally. This night may have caused a few of our kids (not going to name names) to sleep at the foot of our bed for a few nights. Ha ha.
Overall, super fun time with the family. We love getting out and spending quality time with our family and enjoying these wonderful little people that call us their parents. They are the lights of our life and what keep us smiling and laughing every day.
