Christmas

Santa came and wow- the kids must have been extra good this year.
He brought Jase a ping pong table
Maycee a sewing machine
Brynlee a V-Tech learning table
and Emee a little bumbo seat with toys.

Christmas breakfast burritos.

Digging in...

Maycee got so many costumes and wanted to try them all on that at one point she was the Fairy Mary Mermaid :)

Christmas day was gorgeously warm!  Brynlee spent it outside in a swimsuit cruzin with Cruz!
Oh the joy!

Christmas Time!

December consisted of all things Christmas; remembering, honoring, love, joy, giving, oh and opening another dental office.  Okay so that last one wasn't Chrsitmas'y' at all, but it did get thrown in the mix.

Aria and Brynlee did their part of getting the office ready

and with a lot of hard work- Stone Oak Family Dental in Crowley is official open for business.

Now on to the REAL Christmas stuff

We got a fun surprise visit from an old Boston friend Ethan Hawkley and his new wife- it was nice to meet her and it gave us an excuse to have another gathering of all our friends!

Maycee enjoying some Christmas stories by the fire!

Another trip to Six Flags for 'Holidays in the Park' We're really trying to get good use out of our season passes.
Before we had a lot of kids of our own, Christmas was in California with Ryan's mom's side of the the family and it was tradition for Grandma Myra to treat all the grandkids to a day at a  theme park on Christmas Eve- so we tried to re-create this tradition a little- although we went a day early :)

Jase has now conquered all the big rides at Six Flags-but he also enjoys the little ones still, especially with cousin Cruz!

The ward Christmas program and party was very nice too.
Brynlee clearly loved Santa.

And this Nativity scene from the party was fun as well.
One Mary, one Joseph, one Angel flapping her wings, and one baby Jesus, eating the hay!

I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Jase was baptized and confirmed on December 5, 2015.  I am so blessed to be this boys momma!  He is the best kid and has a tender heart and sweet spirit.  The program was perfect.  Some girls in our ward provided the most beautiful music complete with harp, cello, flute, and piano! It brought the spirit so strong. I was touched by what a wonderful service they provide.
Uncle Kyle spoke about Baptism and told him that the secret for all that you need to do it 'Choose the Right' CTR.
Grandpa Greg spoke about the Holy Ghost and all His roles and that He is a comforter. Grandma Kristan made Jase a blanket to remind him of this.
There were lots of tears of joy and happiness as Jase made this decision to follow the Savior!   I even noticed that Jase could feel the spirit too during the closing hymn as he shed a few tears that were quickly wiped away.  I love this boy!  We are so honored to be his parents!

We gave Jase his first set of scriptures, which he promptly opened and marked this scripture!

My parents weren't able to be there, but they sent Jase a very nice letter that Jase has kept next to his bed. My mother has the best way of teaching - and  Jase has learned so much from his family.  I'm so thankful for all his examples in his life and for how much he desires to do what's good and right!
