Jase and 5!

My little man turned 5 on November 27th and he is a pretty stinkin' fun 5 years old!

The kid loves all things SPORTS and has a very particular fondness for football.  He knows all the team names and he is totally up on the lingo and exactly how the game works.  Seriously Jase will talk football with you all day long from stats, to scores, to plays, to his favorite team the Patriots.

We had a fun little party while my parents where still in town.

For his BIG party with his friends all he wanted was to hang out at Chuck e Cheese.

Happy Birthday Dude!  We love you!

Thanksgiving Week

Thanksgiving week was so fun this year.  My parents came to Texas and we had a blast.  I'm so glad they came, otherwise Thanksgiving would have been lost, probably to Taco Bell.  Seriously you guys- first trimester sickness has been especially ugly this time around- like BAD!

Ryan prepped me with Preggo Pops, and Psi-bands, and Dramamine in hopes that I would make it through...they helped a little.

First up turning 29- the last year in my twenties, there's a little bit of pressure here to make it a great year before I officially am no longer young!

I was able to feel well enough to run the Turkey Trot Thanksgiving morning- although I settled for running the 5k rather than the 10k I originally signed up for.

We'll just pretend that the aftermath of running wasn't gagging and trying disparately to keep my breakfast from spilling over at the finish line.  Let's just focus on the fact that I ran and didn't stop and all was good- okay?...okay!

Then we came home and finished preparations for this beautiful meal!

We also had fun later that week at the Stockyards in Fort Worth.

While in Fort Worth we went for a tour of this place.  They actually print more of our currency here than they do in Washington.  It was pretty cool.

So glad we got to share this holiday with my family.
I've missed my parents delicious Thanksgiving meals for too many years now.
Love you guys!

Full Fall part 2

Let's finish this season off by starting with Halloween.  You may know by now that I LOVE throwing a good Halloween party.  This year since we weren't in Boston with the regular crew- it felt different, but I decided their were enough Bostonians turned Texans out here to pull off another famous party.  Well low and behold after committing to it- I found out I was pregnant- yeah!  But sure enough I got extremely sick and found myself in bed thinking of nothing but trying not to puke again in that same hour.  So lucky Ryan got to try his hand in the party planning this year- and... well he did me proud.

Theme : Halloween "Politics"
Each partier was trying desperately to become the President of Transylvania- by winning over the swing states of  Boohio, New Harmshire, Witchconsin, NeBATa, North Ghoulina, Cobblerodo, Eye-owa, Verminia, and Floridead.

A few of the Goblins that showed up
Maycee, Jase, Hudson, Lyla

Cher (Romney) & Mike (Obama).
Mike got the scariest costume award- lol!

Jared & Ashlee

and the worst costume goes too.....

Our Full Fall also consisted of:
Two really fun friend birthday parties

One for Hudson at Fossil Rim - a zoo you drive through and some of the animals will come eat right out of your car!

(Hudson, Maycee, Jase)

The other for Jaxson was an insane food fight party- seriously a kids dream come true!

We also went to Ryan's bosses wedding, which was the most outrageous, lavish, beautiful wedding I've ever seen in my life!

More High School Football. This one in Allen at the $60 Million stadium- a high school stadium, oh my goodness!

Scooter rides.

Jumping in the leaves....and so much more!

Yes, our Fall has been full indeed!

Full Fall!

Fall has been SO busy and SO fun!  And blogging about it has been nonexistent. So instead of trying to catch up with one post at a time- I'm combining all our fall festivities into one!

We got a first hand look into what Friday night lights are all about in Texas.
High School football games are so fun.

Maycee and her cute little friend Savanah.

Then there was the traditional pumpkin patch!

Pumpkin carving.

Halloween Trick-or Treating!
