CHRISTMAS 2016!

Christmas Eve was all Cowboy themed this year and the big kick off event was a Tour of the Dallas Cowboys Stadium!

 Cowboys locker room

The cheerleaders locker room

haha- riiiight!?

I think everybody's favorite part was playing on the field.  Apparently the Cowboys are the only NFL team that let people do this- so it was definitely and experience to remember.

Jase catching one in the in-zone. TOUCHDOWN!

That night it was the traditional Gingerbread house contest!

Then we got our CHristmas jammies on and it was off to bed!

Santa showed up- apparently we were all very good this year ;)

And Ryan gave me the biggest surprise of all- a new car!
I went from shock to crying to laughing and back to crying!  I've never owned a new car before and this one has all the bells and whistles.  Jase ran out jumping around:  "Oh yes!  I've always wanted a car where the door open by themselves!"  Apparently we've been still pedaling around like the Flintstones!

But having time with the family is my very favorite thing of all!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas

All the things we do for the holidays....

Christmas Card pictures

Winter Wonderland Singer's Company performances

Company parties

Decorating the Tree

Sledding!  (We have to find the shipped in snow in Texas)

Seeing Santa and Mrs. Claus

And reindeer too.
Although Jase informed us that this for sure wasn't one of Santa's flying reindeer because his name tag did not say Dasher or Dancer or Prancer or Vixen...Comit or Cupid or Donner or Blitzen.  It simply said Four.

Yep, it's beginning to look (and feel) a lot like Christmas!  All my favorite feelings!

Boston! --- not the city

Jase asked Santa for a family dog for Christmas!
This little guy must have needed a home because he showed up on our door step three weeks early!

Our Elf Beantie sent us on a scavenger hunt looking for him! What a surprise when the kids opened the front door.  They couldn't believe it!  We quickly decided on the name Boston!
The first two week with "Boss" were super rough on me haha.  New puppies are harder then new babies, but we're adjusting and loving him like crazy!

A surprise for Jase

This KID!  We've successfully turned him into a BYU fanatic!
Since we were in UT for his birthday, Ryan surprised him with a trip up north for both a BYU basketball game and football game.
They went for just one day, but they took Provo by storm!

Got to stay with and visit Great Grandma Elaine and Tom!

The MTC

The Provo temple

BYU stadium and campus

Toured the campus bookstore and museum

Played on the basketball court

Went to J-Dogs

And even hiked all the way to the Y on the mountain.
Jase said it was super tough and would NEVER do it again (haha) espeically after just eating hotdogs LOL!

The creamery for a post hike reward.

Met Cosmo

Got a Cougar Tail

And finished the day experiencing the Provo cold and watching the football game!

It goes without saying that well...this!

The next day (his actually birthday), on their way home, I drove up to meet them in Cedar City.
Since this was wehre Jase was born and mine and Ryan's old stomping grounds- it holds very dear memories for me and we gave the kids a quick tour of all the places we lived and shared some stories with them about our first four years as a married couple!

This was the house I brought this kid home to 9 years ago!
Where does the time go!?  Oh how I miss that sweet baby boy- but he's turned into the most amazing little dude!  As my first child and only boy- Jase has a special hold on my heart!

Of course we also had to go see the new temple being built!  It is so beautiful.  I hope we get to go back and go through it one day!

Happy 9th Birthday Bud!  We love you so stinkin' much!
