This kid's coordination has always baffled me. He doesn't get it from me, it's most definitely a trait from his daddy!

wild animals
We got memberships to the Dallas Zoo and set out for an adventure!
Jase lead the way (he was so cute and official leading us with his map).
These little guys were so cute and interactive. The one in the water would swim back and forth following the kids along the glass and waving his flipper?, arm?, fin? whatever they are, at us.
Jase getting brave with the crocs ;)
Here come the elephants! These two were awesome they came walking up to the waters edge where everyone views them and started splashing water up at us and each other and I they could flap the tips of their trunks up and down, it looked like they were waving- so cute!
Giraffe encounter is cool too- basically getting face to face with them. Maycee was... concerned, but intrigued.
This guy was quite curious about my camera:)
Jase was most excited to see this beautiful cat. It's his favorite animal!
Since it was our first visit to the zoo here they gave us some extra perks, like a camel ride. Jase thought it was pretty awesome and Maycee just looked like she wondered what in the world she was doing on the stinky animal- ha ha.
Taking a break.
The nice thing about having a membership is that when the kids are exhausted and there is still so much to explore, there's always a next time.
Good-bye for now Dallas Zoo- we look forward to discovering many more new things when we come back!
